My name is Philipp Höhnel and I am a Senior Concept Artist in the film and games industry. I'm available for freelance projects, you can reach me via my address found above. Currently I work at The Multiplayer Group, a British outsourcing studio for games that has helped develop major titles such as Overwatch 2, Call of Duty MW2, Fall Guys and more. Previously I was a Concept Artist at Ubisoft, where I was designing environments, characters and props for Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Frontline and The Crew Motorfest
My specialties are cinematic environment design, storytelling, and science fiction - I try to give every design I create its own sense of character and history, and come up with unique visual solutions.
I studied design and illustration at the Computer Graphics Master Academy and learned through mentorships with fantastic artists such as master designer Peter Han, Star Wars/Lucasfilm Concept Artist Jama Jurabaev, Senior Concept Artist Raymond Tan, and more.
I've got a Bachelor's degree in Indology (South Asian Studies), I'm a Linux and general computer enthusiast, and I love film. My workflow is a mixture of VR, 3D modelling and 2D painting, combining various approaches to quickly develop new ideas.
